Are you frustrated with the state of American politics?  Me too.  I started writing this book before the divisive election of 2024 and concluded it while staring into the face of the government shutdown in 2025.  Things are so broken, and they just seem to be getting worse.  What can a reasonable, moderate person do?  This manifesto proposes a new emphasis on centrism to push politicians and parties toward the middle.  It outlines a set of principles to inform decisions when voting in elections.  It lays out a simple platform based on bolstering democracy and preserving the freedoms and liberties that we cherish in this country.  And it dives into case studies of polarizing political issues to explore how we should seek to understand each other and look for compromise.  We can only get out of this together, by turning the Nation’s attention to what’s good for the people and by stoking the fires of passion for American centrism.  Recommended for ages 15+.
